'bgy ʾrthštr ˗ MLKA', i.e. 'bay Ardaxšēr šāh' ('Lord Ardashir, the King' in Pahlavi) Facing head of Ardashir I, wearing diadem and Parthian-style tiara decorated with pellet-in-crescent. Rev. 'BRE bgy pʾpky ˗ MLKA', i.e. 'pus bay Pābag šāh' ('son of Lord Pābag, the King' in Pahlavi) Head of Papak to left, wearing diadem and Parthian-style tiara decorated with pellet-in-crescent. SNS type I(1)/1(1). Sunrise 691. Well centered and with two expressive portraits. Slightly rough and with minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
